Details:
Found guilty of one count of aggravated assault and one count of assault with a weapon, contrary to sections 268 and 267(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada 

Conditional sentence of 22 months on the following terms:
-Keep the peace and be of good behaviour
-Appear in court as required
-Report to supervisor within 72 hours of the date of sentencing and thereafter as required
-Remain in the jurisdiction unless written permission is obtained to go outside the jurisdiction from his supervisor or the court
-Notify the court or the supervisor in advance of any change in name or address, employment or occupation
-Attend counselling as directed by his supervisor, including for anger management and racial trauma
-Abstain from communicating directly or indirectly with named person 
-Not go within 100 metres of any place where he knows named person to live, work or go to school
-Not attend within 10 meters of named person
-For the first nine months shall remain in his residence at all times except:
     For medical appointments for himself
     Medical emergencies involving a member of his immediate family or himself
     Travel directly to and from and reporting to his supervisor or any counselling program directed by his supervisor
     To assist his mother to attend any medial appointments with advance notice to his supervisor
     With advance permission of his supervisor
     To travel directly to the dentistry office to work and then directly home for no more than three days each week

For the next six months he shall remain in his residence from 8:00 pm to 6:00 am except for medical emergencies involving his immediate family or himself or with the advance written permission of his supervisor
Shall make himself reasonable available to police or his supervisor for checks on his whereabouts to ensure compliance with the above nine and six month terms

-Two years probation
-Weapons prohibition for 10 years
-DNA order
-The knife used in the offence is forfeited
